The things we've shared
and shouldn't have dared,
brought us to where
acceptance is being accepted
(as is)
Whether peace or strife,
life is life;
in good and bad,
friendship survives.
It needn't be
a birthday,
or any other holiday
no reason needed
to stop and say,
"Hello".
