I stumbled upon
The art of divine painters,
Golden horizons.

Quick question.
Is a senryu a haiku if the title involves one of the seasons, but the poem never mentions it?

this is very interesting, I think if you are referring to the sunrise as being the result of a devine artist then this is a haiku but it is up to the individual, in any case it is very well done

I'm sorry I didn't answer your question initially. I got ingrossed in the poem and didn't read the an's. A haiku will consist of nature and season. Usually people are not incorporated into them, once they are, the haiku becomes synru from my understanding. If it has people or emotions in it, it is synru. Vivid description which forms a definate image in the readers mind with the least words and have nothing but nature and seasonal word are haiku. Traditionally haiku were not titled, so it wouldn't matter if the title held the seasonal word, it would have to be within the poem. Both are lovely forms. I love what you did with this.

This was short and good I have too admit. But It didn't quite keep my attention, so therefore I am going to have too say that you can't go too round 2. But however you can re=enter another piece and see if you can keep my attention to have another chance at round 2 if you would like. Thanks for entering!
