I've written my name all over this town,
watched this sun go up and down,
ran across these fields so green.
You won't forget me.
You won't forget me.
I've marked every single piece of grass,
watched these clouds roll before they pass,
left everywhere a part of me.
You won't forget me.
You won't forget me.
I've known every bird to soar these skies,
made myself believe that I could fly,
shouted goodbye to everyone I see.
You won't forget me.
You won't forget me.
I'll be leaving this town so very soon,
traveling under light of the stars and moon.
Won't be long till my world's what I want it to be.
You won't forget me.
You won't forget me.
