material voice

At the dawn,
choicelessness that liberates me,
as if a musical state,
echoes every now and then
nascent and beautifully compiled
an orchestra that is me, full of melodies,
billions, trillions and zillions of notes,
(moment to moment)
as many as the number of atoms in me.

At the dusk,
mercilessness that annihilates my mocking senses
as if a sincere quest to add rhythm,
or in making the story into a rhyme,
to unravel the vulnerable as-it-is me,
untouched by the past-present-future,
marred by deceptive yet colorful events,
billions, trillions, zillions of thoughts,
(moment to moment)
as many as the number of atoms in me.

At the cross roads,
I reinvented me, the intertwined me,
amidst the struggle between
merciless-self and choiceless-me.
