She looks into my eyes
As our lips meet
I never thought
Anything could taste this sweet
She smiles at me
And I wonder if she'll ever leave
I could never imagine
Not waking up in her arms
She keeps me safe
When I feel alone
She chases my fears
And makes me whole
Bathed in this sea
Of the scent of her skin
I find myself at peace
And I know
That I will always love her
The way the light dances
Across her eyelashes
I will always remember
And as we walk
Hand in hand
I know she'll always be mine
