He’s a legend already, shaping himself
To meet the coming moment
And the moment is now
And hopefully ours
He’s a lean young fighting machine
Who seems to be a hypocrite
He signed the Bill of Rights to not sell cigarettes to kids
When what does he do in the White House? You guessed it
We can see that he has won
But not only is it a triumph of equality
But a triumph of decency
There’s a change, it has come
He isn’t just a new man in an old job
Or a black man in triumph
He is a better man
Who some say is the best man for the job
It isn’t time to forget the days of Bush
Greed, civic carelessness, unnecessary war
And the environmental horror
For a new man has been born with a new face and body
