i pass by the window she stares out of,
blue eyes of the winds own somberness,
her world's weight, carried on the back of a dove,
lilac hair shadowed by tinted glass,
i have to wonder, does her heart beat,
just as fast as mine,
letting the blood heat,
counting backwards from nine,
i try to count the times,
i've seen her like this,
without her pills, the ladder she climbs,
without her dependent bliss,
a headache forms,
they're impossible to count,
