that night, her eyes

It was that night
when I looked up at her eyes and realized how boundless they where
emptied by her body's unrelenting use
I immersed myself deep with her soul
All I could see was my reflection
as long as I can exist within those bottomless depths
I can ask for nothing more

I love how love can truly make two people become one. The line that did it for me with this poem was "I can ask for nothing more". I did not know what direction this was going, but when I read that line it perfectly summed it up.

The reflection part was a great touch. I think when two people are in love with each other, the level of the love matches one another. It sounds as if you have found a significant other that you really do love, and they do the same for you!

    Good stuff!
