Winter is here again,
Oh how it never seems to fade,
With its cold, harsh sting,
And colorful garland strings,
Bringing a feeling I just can’t bear.
Spring and Summer seem but a dream,
A pleasant thought to pass the time,
A nicer place,
With warmth and laughter,
The serenity I’ll never find.
Fall will never come,
For there’s no start to bring an end,
No need for falling leaves,
A biting, chilly breeze,
No time to make amends.
You’ll always be that sudden breeze,
Piercing through the chilly night,
The one that makes you stop and smile,
Full of warmth and life,
And for a moment you can almost believe.
Author notes
Yeah, it's not grammatically perfect, but oh well. I never can seem to achieve that with poems.
