I'm not sure I know her
the girl who loved you
who gave her every breath for you
golden necklaces melt in my palm
and memories flicker in my mind
love is not always found
where we look to the most
your rose petals stain
my keep sake box
where the past is kept
under lock and key
despite our tragedy
I woke up this morning
and smiled at the rain drops
fogging my glasses
despite my tears now
and the growth Papa brings
I realize this to shall pass
and say a wonderful Amen
today I remembered me
who I was born to be
how wonderful my life is
because he gave me strength to breathe

Another beautiful write
I love these chronicles of Strength
Shows a real 'attitude of gratitude'
I loved the two verses which began 'despite'. Brilliantly pieced together.
And I also love how only the words which relate to Him are capitalized.
Well done.

Excellent poem, you know it shows your humanity very well this piece of peotry.
I know you have more of this to say there is so much kept under lock and key some might well bubble to the surface yet as you have said All Things will come to pass one way or another.
Thank you so much for being such an endearing friend to me.
