Unstarted

fragile fingers to your strong digits
breathless bursts and silent sighs
fire snaps and chatters all the while

so happy to see you on sunday
blankets slipping off bare skin
cold black windows and bedsheets

rigor mortis eyes and open empty smile
living in the partial promise land
dolled up whore-faces looking on

hope springs eternal in a dead fount
and one wishes for death to be real
he threatened me no more

What did you think

    Welcome to Allpoetry!

You have written this really well. It's quite intriguing, pulling you in and leaving questions in your mind unanswered. I love that you manage to create this brilliantly "dead" piece of poetry with amazing imagery... it almost consumes the senses.

I might suggest some punctuation though
