Life is not the same
but who is to blame?
That's how it goes.
Everyone knows.
You were my heart.
You were my soul.
Now I sing only half notes, never whole.
I used to sing to the top of my lungs.
Now I sing in a soft whisper.
Life just isn't the same
but who is to blame?
You were my heart.
You were my soul.
Now I sing only half notes, never whole.
Once again
I just can't win.
You were my everything!
What am I supposed to do without you?
Huh?
You were my soul!
Now when I sing my notes are never whole.
I sing half notes, never whole.

SO DEEPLY HEARTFELT!!!!!
Always when a relationship breaks down one blames themselves and finds that both are equally to blame most of the time.
