About being separated from my boyfriend. I was home for the holidays and he was where my college is. He called me the night I wrote this, which made me happy. I saw him 6 days after I wrote this.

One doesn't truly know how it feels to miss someone until they experience it...If someone you love is miles away its as if only part of you is there...because the fact is the other part is with the one you love....I can so relate!! Thanks again for entering

Yes we never know how much we care about someone and how incomplete we are without then until they are gone. This is when you realize how much that person really cares about you!

This was a great poem... Sometimes it's nice to be wrong... But when it comes to love it hurts when you are wrong about something... Sometimes you want something so bad that you dream it is real then you wake from the dream by the alarm or the phone and then you realize that they were never there to begin with... I have had that happen to me before and I don't think that it is very fun... I think that the flow of the poem was great and you picked out great words for this piece... Great write... Good luck with your poetry!
