My Ears, My Heart and My Mind

I’m getting the feeling, we’re not that much alike
You’re a closed book, while I am an open mic
It’s like you can’t talk to me
Like I can talk to you

I know life left you with a scar
But will you be a victim or use it for something better?
Are you afraid of something new?
Or is it just me, the guy that wants know everything too

I try to comfort, hoping you will tell
Whatever there is your in secret shell
My Ears, My Heart and My Mind
Will be there, just for you
Is there anything I can do?

Like the rest of your family,
I care for every cell in your body
For every crack and irregularity
All your honesty has to become mine
So, that you can, without a doubt, shine

Shine like the beauty you are
No one will notice your uncertainty
If you stay in your shell, your cup
No one will see the way I see you
If you would just give up.

Please don’t hold back
to something so unnatural
to something so unexpected
is it still just me?
Or are you afraid of being corrected?

Living a structured and steady life
Know to give it all up
For something you’ve always wanted
If you would only demand it
