Daughter of a Star

Missing image
Taa~raa, here upon the river of once was
witness a daughter struggle to lift beyond
man, woman and the Self that swims
too far into the currents of consciousness

for she is thronged by craving beasts.
Hear their roared names through manifold trees:

Marwah, Khayalan, Murka and Kerakusan
Mentah, Keirian, Waswas,  and Kenekatan

And Water moves on, swift~secure in its liason
with the ocean of experience; fingers
blue lotus as it empties soul~kiss
into infinite body.    Taa~raa

Stars could never be blind to the plunder
of raging creature, to flower in undertow;
di sini di atas pantai  of salvation.

Let Man~seed and Woman~heart fall away.
Let the blossom surface while Self subsides
while the din of creatures in crave become as fish
who swim far into currents of Let~go.

Seek with silver breath of Tara wings
leaving forest its twigs and shadow.

Because your daughter waits with Water
in ripples cast as moon. She listens to the wind,
and the whisper of Craving's last wail...    Find her

The lotus gentled through manifold song
who floats before the feri of  Taa-raa

This is truly beautiful poetry and filled with so much imagery I am nearly overwhelmed with thought, ideas, and inner emotion grappling with my subconscious to let loose.

So beautifully written. Thank you for such a lovely entry. Best of luck in the judging. ~Pamela
