Sword of RedBeard

Missing image
Serena voice rose like silk thunder. "drop me anchor
slash his sails if need be. TYRUS! so ye lives. Thee knoweth
why I cometh; free me sister of taste me father's sword."

"Ah dear warrior thy Da twas a good man."

This statement caught her by surprise. Her eyes widen
when the words splashed over her ears like the deep
dark salty brine, sunshine.

"What doth thou know of me father?"

"From an enchanting lady me wife, thy sister he stands
a fair man, a very noble gentleman."

This angered her all the more, causing her to move
like magic. She was aboard his ship with a quickness.
Looking him eye to eye; sword drawn with the very
tip so shiny it mirrored his chest hair.
Tyrus was ready. Clash after clash, bang their metals
sparked like tiny bits of lightening. Both of them
danced a tango of fire. Serena had a passion for her
skills.

Knowing he had no desire to kill of wound his sister-
in-law...Tyrus avoided her attempts to end his life.
Thus allowing each opportunity to kill her escape. "Ah
that blade just slipped by" he taunted her.
Yet she never let up; swearing like a London drunk,
fighting like the men on the Thames. Then he heard
the tender voice of his darling wife rant with wisdom.

"Serena! Leave him; fight with me! Who's the better
swords-woman?  Tis I shouted, Sabrina. Tyrus' s me husband,
father of me unborn child."

Sabrina was dressed in a lads togs, her sword gleaming
in the morning sun. It was has if a ton of iron fell on
Serena head. "Unborn child!" she bellowed.
Then for the first time in months she smiled. "Ye art
carrying a wee babe."

"Aye!"

"Tyrus the father, thy husband? when did thou marry?"

"Whilst thee were out raging about, attacking other ships
which OUR FATHER NEVER DID!"

She put away her sword, cutlass!  Checking the dirk in her boots
she walked up to Tyrus, punched him in the gut.

"Welcome to the family ye ole salty sea-dog; ye art me brother aye?"

Tyrus through of hitting her back, but he saw now that
she had accepted him. What could happen next?

So Serena knew not of the bond of matrimony in existence between her sister and Tyrus. Now she calls him brother, but is their some other motive to her? From her history, she would appear to be from the dark side, but the dark side of whom? Her mother? Her unknown father?

Kill Tyrus she may, through subterfuge of some sort; but one has to wonder why.

In the unraveling of the story, the truth will be learned.

    I love you, Brazos
