I wrote these lyrics about how it felt leaving my fiancee behind while going on vacation with my best friend. Her and I were gone for one week visiting Petoskey, MI and camping on the lake, and while it was a great experience and I had a lot of fun, I was ready to come home and see the one I love again. It's hard being away! So this was inspired by that situation.
