I'm Not God's Typo

You don’t like the sounds?

Coming out of my mouth?

So you choose to close your ears

That’s a true sign of fear.

And as you twist and turn,

Churn in your seat

I’ll enunciate for you so that

You don’t miss a beat

That there’s nothing wrong with being gay

In fact,

Your God made me that way

So take it up with him.

If you’ve got somethin’ to say.

His creations are divine in every way.

You don’t want to hear

Of love and devotion?

No, you think you can judge,

So you cause a commotion.

You think that you can judge what’s wrong and right

Well I’m sorry, but who gave

You divine sight?

Because the same exact scripture that damns me to hell,

Damns all the people who are effeminate as well.

So you don’t have to be a homo to go to hell!

If you aren’t manly enough you will go as well!

So back up off me!

You’re not the voice of God!

There are people like me-

Not just here, but all abroad

And I really don’t think that God can make a typo

So, I’m here to set the record straight, cause I know-

That there’s really nothing wrong with the way I feel

The only problem is that you, just can’t deal-

With the fact that you’re wrong

Yes, you made a mistake

Our God knows exactly just how to create-

Love

That’s what I am; I’m a creature of love

I was sent here down to earth from heaven above

Just like you,

So why can’t you see?

That God made love the same

For you and me.

What did you think

This is amazing, so beautiful. I like the way you expressed it how people always use God as an excuse to judge others. Thanks for adding this and it's truly amazing.
