I am mixed

Not Black
Not White

Black and White-They're different
When they are brought together they make an ugly gray color.
But when they are mixed into unity I see a new color,
A beautiful chocolate brown
Just like me
I am mixed

Black cannot be black with white,
And white cannot be pure with black.
Two separate groups that cannot be when together.
They are like water and oil.
They cannot combine.
But,
I am mixed

I am like a dark chocolate paint mixed with a creamy white tint.
I am the color of unity
I am not black
I am not white
But I am a creation of both
My color is the color of peace
I am mixed

Not Black
Not White
But in between
I am mixed
I
represent all cultures, colors, and people mixed into one
My color is the human race
I look down on whites
I look down on blacks
I will not join with tints or shades that would change my unique color
I am mixed

You cannot turn me white
You cannot turn me Black
My skin could be black
My skin could be white
My skin could be any color of the rainbow
But I would not matter
I am mixed

On the outside you may see a color
But on the inside I am a mixture of all races
I am the human race
The human race is not black
It is not white
It is human
It is like a rainbow, a blend of colors
The human race is mixed

You may see a color on my skin,
But on the inside I will always be mixed
I am mixed
