I Am

I AM
I am a Goddess and Musician.
I wonder what lies in the heart of Darkness.
I hear the majestic concert of the Sirens all around me.
I see a cloud of sadness over the lost.
I want to be a leader, looked upon and loved.
I am a Goddess and Musician.
I pretend I'm unstoppable.
I feel the sorrow of those who weep dwelling in my heart.
I touch the coldness of evil and I am unaffected by it.
I worry that darkness will overcome light faster than water falls.
I cry when an angel falls from heaven and grows horns instead of wings.
I am a Goddess and Musician.
I understand how simple it is to fall into a pool of darkness.
I say that you must understand worlds, light and dark, before you judge.
I dream that one day the closed minds will open and see that there can be
no light without darkness and no darkness without light.
I try to be there for those who need me and are willing to see what it's
like in a world outside their own.
I hope that one-day darkness will take over, yet light will win so that all
may learn of both worlds.
