Of what’s simple and what’s sublime

Of what is simple and what’s sublime
No language can tame in rhyme
The brightest moments singular
Burn where no pen on papers stir
They dwell unscathed by limited words
Not carved
Or chastened
To what can be heard
Rather the vision
Sight! --When eyes close
Holds that memory in tranquil repose
There no cruel words can find
Thoughts to cage a liberated mind

i always feel that words are inadequate and more limiting rather than anything else. perhaps thats why we resort to poetry?
