i don't hate you

my solace ended
with your death
but you knew that
you know everything
you knew how i would react
when i thought you loved me
you knew i would almost hate myself
when i found out you really didn't

you knew i'd be torn apart when i thought
you died
at the funeral
i cried
i cried for you
you knew i would
you wanted me to

and you thought i'd hate you
when i learned the truth

but this is where you were wrong
dead wrong
i don't hate you
i never have
i thought you were sick
to play with my heart like that
and not care
that's okay though
i'll get you

so no i don't hate you
at least not yet
