A year ago we met
and now a thousand miles apart
but I assure thee Sonya dear
you’re always in my heart
Mine uttermost affection
I do gladly pledge to thee
weather thou art by my side
or off across the sea
My love for thee is most indelible,
far from empty or vain
I pledge my love for thee dear Sonya
on hearts in Cavalry's name.
Ever thou art in my heart
and I, I trust the same
forever mine my Sonya dear
to have mine love proclaimed.
Another day another hour
Longing to be thine
I’ll be consoled
My blessed dear
When thou art finally mine
This joyous time shall naught forget
our love affair we promenade
this first year of our escapade
our love song in its vast array

Fantastic. It's heartfelt, sweet, and I'm sure your Sonya will be quite pleased come November 10th. Typo: don't forget the apostrophe in Calvarie's name. That's a great line, by the way. The only thing that read a little awkwardly is S4L4, where you might want to change the "mine love" to "my love". Granted, this does have a theme of antiquity, so I see why you wrote it that way. Regardless, this is wonderful.
