A cool breeze comes,
As the moon rolls in,
And I feel your fingers in mine.
The sky is our blanket,
The stars are our light,
And the grass is our bed to sleep in.
For we have no home,
‘cept each others arms,
And no heater,
But each other’s warmth and charms.
“alas.” You’d whisper when my stomach turned,
“we have no food tonight.”
“but do not worry, for it will come soon, and I promise I will make things right.”
“That’s all I need to hear” I say.
For I love you more than food today,
and love is trust in it’s own way.
The nights get colder,
But you hold me tight,
And why should I worry if you say it’s alright?
Because all I need is you.
I’m afraid I cannot feel my feet,
And in desperation you give me heat,
Using your own cloths.
“I promise I will make things right.” You whisper sadly in my ear.
“that’s all I need to hear.” I say.
For I love you more than night and day,
And love is trust in it’s own way.
And I remember as I pass away,
Those last words you said to me that day.
“I love you more than the skies in may.”
And love is trust in its own way.
What did you think?

This was really very good. It was very enjoyable to read. Love does require trust. This was very well written. Flowed nicely. Keep up the good work!
