With wings opened wide I will soar
life will not end, I’m sure there is more,
to know we need but close our eyes
flying in dreams through heavenly sky’s.
Be it just hope, then hope I will feel
inside I believe, in my heart it is real,
we call it heaven, yes maybe a dream
here in my mind such wonders all gleam.
To fly over rainbows, shiny, so bright
thoughts of such pleasures filled with delight,
feeling loves warmth caressing your skin
embracing each moment, blessed from within.
Yes I believe to die is to live
that’s why this Earth has such pleasures to give,
each hour, each day as time passes by
our souls are preparing to leave here, to fly.

I'm very glad our little chat inspired this piece of poetry because you have made an outstanding poem out of just an idea said in jest.

"Yes I believe to die is to live

Your last stanza sums up the piece so very neatly, and too, on a note of up-lift!
Reads aloud astoundingly well.
Quite well done!
Love & Blessings,
