Surrounded

Midnight creeps into my soul
Death is approaching
Your fingers chill me to the bone
Shadows swallow my sadness

The ravens fly into the moon
Crying into the night
In the corner she cries
While the moonlight catches her tears

Darkness dwells within their hearts
Awakening demons down below
Underneath the grey skies
Surrounded by melancoly thoughts

Slowly the frozen ground will thaw
Melting away the sadness
Butterflies will float upon their hearts
Sunshine will sing for tomorrow
