Everything to Lose

Alone in a crowded room, making life seem worthless.
No one would ever ask for this, this feels wrong.
Yet, with nothing to lose, you take that step forward.
The worst has happened, you try to change that.
Suddenly, flashes of light spatters around you.
This isn't a dream you're alive, with this mesmorizing thing,
captured in your eyes, it's captivating, you can't look away.
You then realize that this day will change the rest of your life.
Your surprised someone as magnificant would talk to you.
Of course, this is no ordinary day,
        you'll realize this will be the best day of your life.
The day, that you met your one true love, and realized your no longer,
in a crowded room, nor are you alone, you are with her,
laying together enjoying one of the infinite precious moments you'll have and treasure.
The day progresses, time moves on, and you still say since day one,
that is the girl I'm going to marry, and it'll be perfect.
It seems for them that it's been a lifetime, when it's only been months.
This is the only thing worth everything to him,
because without her he has everything to lose.
