In the dead of night
There will be a spark
and the gasoline trail
will illuminate the town.
It will be beautiful,
I promise.
Inspiring,
I promise.
And most of all,
it will be a cataclysmic show.
A standstill moment.
Everyone will be sleeping,
and soon no one will hear their cries for help.
A laugh breaks the silence
a figure breaks the shadows
as they walk towards the town.
Falling all around her;
the lives of all the people,
their hopes and dreams,
all crushed by their murderer.
Her malice was their disaster.
Her anger festering,
turned into something anomaly
that it was all you could see.
With screams ringing in the air
and their lives at their end
a song touched her lips,
and she began to sing,
her laughter molding with their screams.
There will be a spark
and the gasoline trail
will illuminate the town.
It will be beautiful,
I promise.
Inspiring,
I promise.
And most of all,
it will be a cataclysmic show.
A standstill moment.
Everyone will be sleeping,
and soon no one will hear their cries for help.
A laugh breaks the silence
a figure breaks the shadows
as they walk towards the town.
Falling all around her;
the lives of all the people,
their hopes and dreams,
all crushed by their murderer.
Her malice was their disaster.
Her anger festering,
turned into something anomaly
that it was all you could see.
With screams ringing in the air
and their lives at their end
a song touched her lips,
and she began to sing,
her laughter molding with their screams.

Um....truthfully I have no idea where I came up with this poem. A lot of the words were inspiring, and it just came out like this. I hope you like it though. Took me five tries to get one I liked.

I actually really enjoyed where you took the prompt.
I especially like:
"It will be beautiful,
I promise."
It's so... just... truthful, yet mysterious.
Thanks for entering.
&Good luckkkk
