It haunts the hallways of the mind
this soul for love to find,
awaiting for it's other half
to fully intertwine.
A lonely time where memory
has coldly lost it's way
and breathes in heavy chained confines,
locked so far away.
Spirit warms with warmth of love
to blossom wild and free,
a dance of colours in the mind
in fields of jubilee.
Ghosts that haunt are flung into
those faroff realms of night,
then waves with passion's precious smile
in promised, grand delight.
Two halves singing lullabies
now joined in precious curves,
never more is darkness seen
as one, now love's preserved.

This is truly beautiful and so sad...
I feel I must read it over and over as it drips with wonderful rhyme and flow.
Good luck in the contest but you don't need it.
Love Lu
