Can you please help me to understand why
I no longer even have the tears to cry
My world has fallen completely apart
I’m all alone with little pieces for my heart
And I Just Don’t Understand
Will I ever be happy or whole again
What have I done so wrong I’m only ten
Small for my age I look like a young five
With no where to run, no where to hide
And I Just Don’t Understand
Every night so afraid to close my eyes and sleep
Laying silently on the floor I quietly weep
No noise will I make for they might hear me
Throw me away again then where will I be
And I Just Don’t Understand
Looking into eyes where once innocence was
Fear and disillusion without the warmth of love
If nothing changes no future meant for me
Can someone, somewhere listen to my plea
And help me to Understand
