To speak the first word, I made my own name.
It and the cosmos are one and the same.
So aged, the years before numbers were made.
My face, maybe forgot, my creation won't fade.
My children, so many, I've watched them all grow.
There names still on lips, as the river of time flows.
I slip into darkness, after shaping the sun, and sky.
An elder, who dreamt, and dreams never die.
Perhaps in another millennia I raise back to the day.
Reclaim my crown, and shed off the grey.
Remind all who forgot, of the first time I spoke.
Before sunsets, obelisks, and prayers to invoke.
Seek you shall find me, I've never been far.
Millions of children, I still know who you are.

Very good. I loved the rhyme scheme as I usually do with your pieces. Very nicely worded, too. I also like the picture. He looks a lot like Apocalypse mixed with Galactus to me, though.
