Cake and ice cream,
presents and friends;
is every kids dream,
wish it wouldn't end.
Torn paper, eyes agleam,
birthday cards, cash to spend.
Backyard party, birds chirp,
soda's that children slurp,
full tummy, a loud Burp!!
