Trees dance in lying winds
while children play in its laughter.
Though the street cracks
and worlds collapse,
with sticks they toy with its fire.
Jumping into a starving life
with joy and eager eyes..
Leaving the broken trees
for the next generation
on this cold,
deceitful
street.

Pretty much reminds me of every day. Just when you think you're beginning to see the beauty of life. Something craptastic happens and you find yourself wanting to die. I can totally relate to this.

Ah, such imagery here. I liked the lines "Through the street cracks/ and worlds collapse..." They have such a ring to them.
Great write
