images blur on
the screen of
reality a flurry
of activity; a
flush of information a
luster exploding; a
cluster imploding
more clear than
high definition
more vivid than a
streak of lightning
more deafening than a
thunder clap more
sudden than a
car wreck.

senses are grasping for
reality
paranormal happenings
increase vitality
the crystal is
shaken, broken, shattered;
the glass floods the
hall, crumble it
falls into the
shadowy abyss.

    ~ an excellent opening line, leading the reader in & sets up the remaining verses to come. I can feel the emptiness and brokenness within this write.
