I must confess...
Helplessly I've fallen.
And you- my only reason for continuing,
the only rhythm that keeps my heart from stopping...
and I have forgotten He who rides the sun,
and calls on clouds of thunder to surround me.
I have become trapped by your mysteries.
Entranced by your being.
Intentions were not to endanger us both...
for you work in magic;
and soft red ribbons of color have bound my heart.
This is my deepest secret.
You've pulled my very soul from me.
You taught it how to dance...how to laugh...how to see.
And now, every moment without you is agony.
Like lungs without air, I'm suffocating without you.
In the silent moments my eyes fall downward with my tears.
Pouring out my sadness- my emptiness.
But I must still my anxiety.
For you are not so far at all,
and He who paints time as it goes, is lonely.
As it passes, I have neglected.
And so, until we've met for our first time,
I shall strive to better my heart for you,
and God will guide my steps each day.
I have confessed my weakness-
you are my weakness.
You are the force I cannot break from;
and I will never desire freedom.
Until you hold me captive in your arms,
my heart shall grow, in wait.
One day, it will be perfect for you.
