The voyage to fill at last a well-earned grave

I now take passage on the sea
after years of dry dock im finally free
I stand on the cusp of two worlds one
a vast forever just begun
now time has come to set sail
spread my wings, fly or fail.
Farewell solid rock of ignorance assumed
run from the fire or be consumed

run to find love wherever may be
what ever the cost I turn to the sea
whipping turning cascading ahead
now by my own mortality Im lead
my childhood now forever dead, I turn
and I seize my share of bread
now new lands, new worlds Il tread
with the  risk that I may go unfed

burry me now or give me wings
to the rock my soul no longer clings
