bonne fete

Bonne fete
dear Charli-J
from rise to sunset
from first glow to moonset
a libran day to not soon forget.

In youth of mere XXIX,
but yet aged like fine wine,
you  know the worth of each sign,
when the sun and  the moon do align.

Le monde awaits Sudo-nimh
and every future new pseudonym,
each to be fueled with incredible vim,
intelligence, wit and mythological whim.

But no matter the fame that decades will bring
the wise woman,  the future C-J will retain her zing,
for years will not age but enhance the bird-on-the-wing
who will now and forever more her vitally true words sing.

    Bonne fete
dear Charli-J Please excuse my ignorance but I have no idea who this person is.

I like the way your poem is laid out does it have a special name? You commented on my poem now I feel at a bit at a loss as I don't really know what to say about yours, but I'm sure others more informed will know what it's about.

You might find more interest in "Love the Moment"

      the newest piece posted.

I imagine you found this by the random generator,
or whatever it is called. The name of the poem
is happy birthday, as expressed in Canada,
Bonne fete, for a young Camadian woman
who just turned 29. A remarkable writer,
currnetly using Sudo Nimh as her screen name.

Oh, I can see the sentimental Sudo-C-J---
precious moment I shall hold in memory.

The bird-on-a wing.....brought to my mind
by the bird-on-a-pole that marks each hole
      ---on the course!

      Oooooo---fashionable cheeky kisses---as at
the runway shows!!! Happy to send and
      receive birthday hugs!!!

May every day be a Charli-J Day!!!

Nah, Moxie or not, he'll never catch me. Even if by a fluke he did, he'd set me free cuz I'd annoy the heck out of him.

I still like the name Charli-J better than Sudo Nimh. I also spell "Nimh" wrong, lol

Charli Nimh. What a lovely tribute. And I am now off to add some Yemish revelry to her page. 29 you say. I asked her the other day if it were 29 and she ignored me -- women are weird, lol

Here is a secret. At first I thought she was stuffy, but then I saw that infectious quality she has...maybe she's just the Swine Flu, lol

A lovely tribute to our mercurial, effervescent poet friend!

aha! your secret is revealed!..stuffy?!..oh msieu, you are gonna take that back!..and there is no possible way i could be the swine flu cause it doesn't exist. period. i could possibly be a rather mild case of the chicken pox..itch itch itch..

although you have somewhat redeemed yourself with the words "mercurial" and "effervescent"..you live to see another day..unlike your nasty little puppet friend!.

Coelho is probably permanently retired. He was an idea born of a desire to irritate Ms. M (who wishes to be called by her real name Mariza, lol.) Paulo Coelho is her favorite author so to be a pain I created the antithesis, a silly person by that name. Understandably she hated him. It was fun but such sophomoric silliness is behind me I think. At least for now, lol
