Dream

I've been asked
What's your dream?
And before
I've had no answer
But now
I remember
I do have a dream

I want to be free
not tied down
by a stupid job
or because of money troubles
I cannot buy that coat
that I love so much

I want to be a performer
Sing the songs
that so many will hear
to be the actress
that everyone loves

I want to make a difference
to be someone
to change lives
that would not have been noticed
if it wasn't for me

I want people to know my name
so selfish
it may sound
but god instilled it within me

I want to do something great
I have a vision
to go so far
and wherever I go
i know I am a part
of one big plan

I want a family
two beautiful kids
with my awesome husband
happily living life
forever

I want to be a Diamond
for those who understand
Financial ability
and within all of these dreams
I will achieve them
through this state
