Men in her life are extremely lucky
All three…her son, husband and her daddy
Respectable, with respect for self and everybody
Individual of strength tackles situations bravely
Accommodating and altruistic, full of generosity
Determination is her middle name, she has it plenty
Obviously simple, satisfied and always happy
Soft hearted, strong willed, a mixture found rarely
Smile so sure, a woman’s true attire, surely
Appreciative and speaks her heart out with honesty
Never saying never, full of life, completely
Talented, be it song, dance or culinary
Optimistic and full of hope, doesn’t fret easily…
She’s a true woman, living up to the name…Maria or Mary.

Maria is an Alto in the Saint Mary's Choir, Dubai, but first, she and Jose, her husband are like family to me. I have always felt that she is a true woman, with so many roles. Maria lives in this poem, the poem could get better, but this is what my inspiration has got me to write about her...
