Pectoris Absentis

Debating the fine line between thick and thin
What is right and what is wrong, what is correct and what should
    be ex'ed
Silly words and incessant cliche's chipping in earnest at the
tip of an iceberg that bobs hand in hand with another one
"Abscence make the heart grow fonder" is a misconception bordering
on a lie blackened by time
Absence does nothing but make the heart grow ever weaker
Split in half and bleeding tears no one else can smell
Only feeling the cursèd succubi drinking it dry ...

But alas! that is nothing but half the story
The spontaneous combustion incited by the connection of the
two halves who feared the other other would be lost forever
A meeting of two parts dying from a mortals' disease ladden
    with immortal pain
Lying in wait with a sickle at it's throat until a knight in
shining armor on a fire-breathing steed
Can pull back the veil and reveal the other awaiting
They sew themselves together, these two halves, swearing on
their graves they will never part
Curing as one the weakness of absence
So they may once again be strong

In the soft shade and mellow light of the aegis of mirage
They are locked together and lost in life
Looking deep into each others' eyes and memorizing  the scent in
the deep-seated fear they will be parted, torn apart
    once more

So, in conclusion, the masses were wrong
Absence makes the heart not fonder but weak
Awaiting to be  made stronger by the fondness of chance meet
So wrapped in my memories of you to battle the cold
I will wait and I wil ponder
How long must forever be until I can see you again?
