Tree of Life.

You bloom into a being beyond Artemis,
beyond the confines of femininity.
Your roots run deep within the ways of this earth.
Yet you, my unfaltering Willow, have outlasted the storms,
of what those who walk this earth offer to your wake.
Those lovers who come and leave their mark upon you,
only leave their devastating scars upon your woody flesh.
Lest I hadn't discovered these scars,
I could not have glimpsed to see,
why they call you a Weeping Willow Tree.
Time and weeping would only serve to deepen,
those wounds into your driftwood heart.
Do not despair like the hardwood,
but have faith in this stand of timber,
that your heart's flowering gift might once again,
love anew in this earth's virgin forest.

Very imaginative, and I love the being reborn in the end. It is indeed the life of a tree.
