it's the black berry
she holds in her hand.
She's never alone,
as long as there's
a voice
on her cell phone.
Walking down the street,
with her head in the air .
Watch the cars and trucks
right over there
She's a product of these
technological times,
lost while creating a
new digital mind.
Human love will never
be replaced, a kiss or an
arm around your waist.
Your black berry or computer
can never do that.
A digital world lives on
electronic facts.
The answer to finding love
is in your heart.
Technology
is only the latest part.

Humanity moves away from its self as it tries to find an equilibruam. I remember pagers were all the rage twelve years ago. text messaging is just advanced texting on a phone. I admit I love being on the phone, even as a little girl I was on our one way land line all the time, Drove my family crazy, and I would be the same way now if I was a kid, just phones are more advanced. HOWEVER, the human soul needs the human touch for its life giving qualities. Yet, then I know in my heart too, that love spans all time and goes on loving, even in times of drought. Love is forever, even if you never see that what you love again! I love your poem. Great style abd content!

remember when every house hold had one phone and pay phones were everywhere, I don't understand the why of holding a phone all day, but it seems to be all the rage.
