Melding

With all that is
And all that was
And all that’s yet to be
It Is You, hon
Meant to meld
With Me…..

    Hmmmm......

.......I have grown cynical. Of course I have no idea what gows on in the lives of complete strangers, yet it worries me that a person can become so hooked/dependent whatever on someone else that a large part of their lives centres on that, and in many cases there seems to be a complete reluctance to admit that that other person may go his or her own way. But what do I know?

The first three lines were so good; if only they had led on to something else... My view.

    • I guess the word You can be taken many different ways, to many different people.

How would you have finished it?

I see. The capitals would normally be taken to indicate a spiritual sense -- the first and greatest of the Sufi Saints, Ibn Arabi, wrote the most extraordinary things of a mystical nature, where Mohammed would appear and have chats with him, and where he would say, that God depended for his existence upon him, Ibn arabi! How he got away with it is a bit of a mystery, and certainly the rather stuffy and formulaic people who champion the Taliban cause, and the S Arabians, would have a heart attack.

I would like to say loftily that it is for you to finish, but the truth is thatI spent I don't know how longg trying different versions, with nothing really satisfactory!

        Edward

        • Though this is about a more intimate moment of becoming One, it is my belief that everything is connected - you know, that stardust "thing", and if we are all connected, then in that connection, we become One.

Whether or not we agree, let us just say &

    Simple and intriguing..
I like the way this ignores all borders
to reach within the core of things. Blue

I think this is perfect as it is. It is a strong, tender affirmation of love and devotion. Sometimes it takes few words to say it all and you have. Lovely job of it

    • Close - more like found, naively/sadly/hormonally lost, and found again, in a manner of sorts. For he is far away from my shore at the moment, but I believe he's coming.....

  • This is kinda neat. I was just thinking about the idea and word "melding" earlier tonight. Cool to see it here, handled like this. I think you did a good job exploring in a touching way.
