Halloween

Ghouls, goblins, witches and frights
These are the creatures of Halloween night.
A wandering wisp is lost in the abyss
The vampires bathe in a bloody bliss.
The Headless Horseman rides threw the woods
And scares Lil' Red like a good monster should.
If you find that monsters and spirits just won't do
Then Halloween is a holiday that isn't for you.

Author notes

I love Halloween. It is probably my most favorite holidays.

I love the little rhyme scheme going on here. It's short and sweet.

I like it, even though it didn't scare me that much.

Oh well, good luck in the contest!!!

Haha I tried so hard to make it scary! I don't know why, but I just can't write scary poetry. Short stories on the other hand... well thats a different story.
