You're scared of letting go
but you already know,
deep inside
you were born to die.
So why try?
Why fight your destiny?
The beast is tearing out,
your fighting to keep it incaged,
fighting to keep from going insane.
You're in a fight thats never ending
and you have no hopes of winning.
You think of giving up until your
dreams are more than worth defending,
in a fight thats never ending.
You're thoughts become inraged
you're going insane.
Fight! Fight! Fight!
Fight till the death,
till your very last breath,
Fight for your life,
Fight! Fight! Fight!
You're in a fight that's never ending,
one you have no hopes of winning.
A battle to the death
the prize is your last breath,
but you're scared of letting go
cuz you already know;
deep inside you're born to die.
So why try?
Just...
give....
up!

i looooooved this, because i had a face in my life where i was a hypocondrite(spell!) and that i was going to die.. i always talked about the present and not the future becasue i knew i wouldn't be there. Im afraid to go to the doc because they will say i have some type of desease and die...and this poem really hit me well. loved it. x check mine out x
