Without Spellcheck

Vowels and consonants,
Too many I care to number,
Glare in annoyance
At being blatantly misused.
And I'm the object
Of all their simmering contempt.
I beg the paper
To keep it's residents in check,
And then I resume
Shamelessly massacring our
Great English Language.

Author notes

I found this one in the back of one of my journals, and thought it was worth adding.

What do you think?

I often find poetry and little bits and pieces in the back and middle of my journal and yet never remembering writing them I need to learn to date mine.

    "And then I resume
    Shamelessly massacring our
Great English Language." --> such a damn good ending
    love this through and through!
