More Than Meets the Eye

I don't know who I am
But I'm not who you think me to be

I fear some just don't understand
That there is more to me than I let you see

Perhaps, there is not...
What if I am just a simple thing
I wonder is there is anything more to me?

So, am I lying to me?
Or lying to you?
Is truth my only key!?

But than what is truth?

Who is "ME"?

I don't know who I am
But I'm not what you see.

Not my best work, but certainly not my worst. It is a little more "emo" than some of my previous writes. However, I do believe that thoughts like this are a necessary evil in everyone's life. For without the question how are we to find the answer?
