Fantastic imagery of freshwater pearls and then jade fingertips. This gives the reader much to visualize and the delicacy of the image at hand. Keep penning these haiku beauties.

Hi Rend...nice to see you here. Yes, I like doing photography, nature shots mostly, but I am just a novice at it and do it for my own pleasure. Its good to have a way of using them here at AP. I think this is only the second one I've posted here. Thank you for your kind comments on both my photo and poetry. Your visit is much appreciated...Alby

Ooh, I love that. If your camera has a good enough zoom and focus capability, you can capture some amazing worlds within the water drops themselves, too. Check out www.flickr.com for some crazy water drop shots. The haiku is awesome, too. It fits the photo perfectly.

Thanks so much Mark. I'm glad you liked my photo as much as my haiku. I will take a look in flickr when I get the chance, I would love to see worlds within water droplets. Alby

I was imagining your moment of discovery---
and finally seeing the results---and the words
so perfect--had to been one of those
        "aha" moments!!!!

Gorgeous Alby.... the photo and the poem gel so perfectly. Seems as though this is truly a picture inspired poem, but knowing you.... it is probably not wise to form such an assumption

Maybe there is something in the 'Haiku.' You are slowly making me appreciate them.

Yes...this is a picture inspired poem...but I like to write in a way that suggests hidden alternative meanings within these little ones. Glad you are starting to like them. It took me a while to like them too...(and I still don't like them THAT much ) Thanks for your comment...Alby
