rock and roll, son! (gas station)

Black man Kobaining his lustful wishes
under a waxed mustache
pissed that little Richard stole his act
and left him with mediocrity

This reads like a snapshot of a random person in a random place, and it reads that way very well. Nice write here, I like the feelings conveyed.

lol I am trying to solve this poem...I like it but I'm not sure I get it. kobaining must have something to do with kurt kobain...so i am picturing a black man rocking out to nirvana at a gas station with as much enthusiasm as little richard.

he had this little richard mustache and talked like him, but he told me it was new age to listen to nirvana in 2002. It made me laugh.
