To my utter delectation
As I stood there on the station
I was lost in admiration
of a god
Such eternal fascination
Of the masses on that station
Singing out in acclamation
of a god
There's no finer transportation
Built in this or other nation
That's my firm determination
of this god
You could try investigation
Or resort to divination
But you'll find in culmination
Just this god
Though it's called infatuation
May not pass true validation
I say there's no vacillation
that's a god
Though a modern usurpation
Has sidelined vapourisation
Any honest valuation
rates that god
Now there's reinvigouration
For disciples on vacation
To a sacred reservation
of this god
Though now steam's ornamentation
We'll enjoy it's operation
And its perfect orchestration
Steam is god!
